Logging Actions and Viewing History in Aquairi
Every aquarium keeps a history timeline of what you have done. Learn to log an event, read and filter the timeline, and why a good record helps both you and the AI assistant.
Knowing what you did and when is half of good aquarium keeping. The Aquairi app keeps a history timeline for each aquarium that records everything done to the tank, so you can look back at your care and spot patterns over time. This guide shows a beginner how to read that timeline and how to log their own actions.
What the history shows
Each aquarium has a History timeline that brings together everything that has happened to it, grouped by date. It includes the actions you log, water changes, water tests, feedings, cleaning, maintenance, medication and observations, as well as automatic sensor readings if you have a connected device. Seeing them together makes it easy to track your routine.
Filter the timeline
If the history gets long, you can filter it to find what you need. You can filter by event type, for example to see only water changes, and by time range, such as the last 30 days, so you can focus on a particular kind of action or a recent period.
Log an event
To record something you have done, log an event on the aquarium.
- Choose the event type that matches what you did, such as water change, test, feeding or observation.
- Optionally add a note with details, and set the date if it was not just now.
- Save the event so it appears on the history timeline.
Why a good history matters
A complete history is more than a diary. It lets you and the app see patterns, such as how long it has been since your last water change or how often you feed, which is exactly the kind of context that helps you make better decisions. It also gives the in-app AI assistant the information it needs to give you relevant, specific advice rather than generic tips, because it can see what you have actually done and when.
