Adding an Aquarium in the Aquairi App
Add your tank to Aquairi with a simple 3-step wizard: enter the basics, optionally log starting parameters, and optionally add your fish and plants.
Adding your aquarium is the first thing to do after signing in, and Aquairi makes it easy with a short three-step wizard. Only the first step is required, so you can be up and running in under a minute and fill in the rest whenever you like.
Open the add-aquarium wizard
From the Dashboard, tap the '+' (Add aquarium) button. This opens a three-step wizard that guides you through creating the tank.
Step 1: the basics (required)
- Enter a Name for the aquarium so you can recognize it on the Dashboard.
- Choose the Type: freshwater, saltwater, brackish, planted or reef.
- Enter the Volume of the tank.
Step 2: starting parameters (optional)
On the second step you can enter your initial water parameters, the readings you have on hand right now. This is optional. If you add them, your aquarium starts with a first data point so trends can build up from day one, but you can also skip this and log parameters later.
Step 3: inhabitants (optional)
On the third step you can add inhabitants. Search the knowledge base for the fish or plant species you keep and add them to the tank. This step is also optional, and you can come back and add livestock at any time.
Finish
Tap to finish and create the aquarium. It now appears as a card on your Dashboard, and the app opens its detail screen, where you can view and manage everything about that tank. From here you are ready to start logging parameters and tracking its health.
