Habitat
Endemic to Lake Tanganyika, inhabiting rocky shorelines. Forms monogamous pairs that defend rocky territories and spawn in crevices. Distinguished from C. brichardi by a dark longitudinal stripe along the body; feeds on invertebrates and biofilm.
