Habitat
Pseudotropheus sp. "acei" is a mbuna cichlid from Lake Malawi in East Africa, associated with sandy areas and submerged wood rather than rock. It grazes aufwuchs and biofilm and is comparatively peaceful for a mbuna, doing well in shoals.
