Habitat
Endemic to Lake Tanganyika, inhabiting steep rocky shorelines. Forms strongly monogamous pairs that defend a small territory among rock crevices and spawn on cave surfaces. One of the smaller Julidochromis species; picks invertebrates from biofilm.
