Habitat
Ramshorn snails (family Planorbidae) are air-breathing freshwater pulmonates with a flat, coiled, planispiral shell. They are widespread in ponds, ditches and slow streams across the Northern Hemisphere and feed mainly on algae, biofilm and decaying matter. Diet
