Habitat
Native to clear and blackwater streams of Thailand and Myanmar in the Salween and adjacent drainages. Inhabits shallow, slow-flowing water with dense vegetation. A micro-cyprinid with a bright green iridescent lateral line, formerly placed in the genus Microrasbora.
