Habitat
Endemic to blackwater peat swamps and forest streams of Borneo, particularly in the Kapuas basin. Inhabits very soft, acidic, tannin-stained water. A small shoaling cyprinid distinguished from the harlequin rasbora by a thinner, glowing copper-orange flank marking.
