- Scientific name: Glossolepis wanamensis
Habitat
The species is endemic to Lake Wanam, a circular lake of about 2-3 km diameter located roughly 24 km west of Lae in Papua New Guinea. Wikipedia reports that it has virtually disappeared from the lake because of competition from introduced, non-native tilapia, although captive populations exist.

FishBase places the species at a trophic level of about 2.9, consistent with an omnivorous feeder. In aquaria it takes quality dry foods alongside frozen and live invertebrates.
