It circulates as a collector plant among Southeast Asian aquascapers. As with the genus generally, it is grown as a rosette and treated as an advanced species.

Habitat
Reported from Southeast Asia. Asian Eriocaulon species are typically associated with soft, low-mineral waters, and aquarium husbandry reflects those conditions with low hardness and acidic substrates.

Cultivation

Propagated by division of the rosette into daughter plants once a clump has matured.
