Habitat

Diet
Corydoras caudimaculatus is an omnivore, consuming both plant and animal matter. In aquaria it accepts sinking dried foods supplemented with small live and frozen items.

A peaceful bottom-dwelling species best kept in groups of six or more. It suits community aquaria with tetras, rasboras and otocinclus and should not be housed with aggressive cichlids.
Breeding
The female carries eggs in a pouch formed by the pelvic fins and lays them in dense vegetation; the adults do not guard the eggs.
