Anubias heterophylla is an aquatic plant in the family Araceae. One of the larger Anubias species with elongated, lance-shaped leaves reaching up to 30cm. Very slow-growing and extremely hardy, suitable for larger tanks where it can serve as a bold midground accent.

Habitat
Anubias heterophylla is native to the rainforests of Central Africa, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo and surrounding countries. Grows as an emersed marsh herb on shaded riverbanks; the name "Anubias Congensis" is a long-standing trade name.
