About Aquairi
Aquairi started the way most aquarium projects do: with a tank that crashed. We are a small team of lifelong aquarists who happen to be software engineers, and we were tired of scattered notes, forgotten water changes, and advice that ignored the actual numbers — so we built the tool we wanted for our own fish rooms.
Today Aquairi is a complete aquarium companion: a diary for water parameters, inhabitants, equipment, and maintenance; AI health insights that explain what is happening in your tank and why; IoT sensors that report in real time; a free knowledge base covering thousands of fish, plants, and corals; and a community of aquarists who share their tanks and learn from each other.
Our mission is simple: fewer crashed tanks and fewer lost fish. Most aquarium problems are preventable when you spot the trend early, so we turn daily observations into data, and data into clear, timely advice — for a first 60-liter setup and for complex reef systems alike.
Aquairi is built by a small independent team. We run the app on our own tanks every day, and your feedback directly shapes what we build next.
What we believe
- Prevention beats treatment — catching a trend early saves livestock.
- Your data is yours — export it or delete it at any time.
- AI should explain, not dictate — you remain the aquarist in charge.
- Knowledge should be free — our species encyclopedia is open to everyone.
