Habitat
A patterned form of Neritina natalensis, a nerite snail native to East African coastal streams and estuaries. An efficient algae grazer; it lays eggs in fresh water but the larvae require brackish or marine conditions to develop, so it does not establish breeding populations in freshwater tanks.
