Habitat
Rhinecanthus aculeatus is a triggerfish of shallow Indo-Pacific reef flats and lagoons. It feeds on hard-shelled invertebrates, crushing snails, crabs and urchins with strong jaws, and is territorial; it is not safe with most ornamental invertebrates.
