Habitat
Tateurndina ocellicauda is a small, colourful gudgeon endemic to slow forest streams and ponds of eastern Papua New Guinea. It lives in soft, slightly acidic water with vegetation, feeds on small invertebrates and spawns in caves with male brood care.
