Very hardy and tolerant of varying conditions. Can become invasive in reef tanks. An excellent starter coral but plan ahead for controlling its spread.

Habitat
Capnella species are branching soft "tree" corals of Indo-Pacific reefs. They draw energy from symbiotic algae and capture fine particles, tolerate moderate light and flow, and propagate readily by dropping small branches that settle and grow.
