Habitat
Parambassis ranga is a transparent-bodied fish from slow fresh and slightly brackish waters of South Asia, including India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. A shoaling micro-predator, it hunts small invertebrates among vegetation; dyed specimens sometimes sold are an unethical practice.
