Overview
Cryptocoryne spiralis is an aquatic plant in the family Araceae. A tall narrow-leaved Cryptocoryne with long ribbon-like leaves that create an elegant grass-like effect in the background. One of the hardiest Cryptocoryne species, it adapts well to low light and rarely experiences crypt melt.

Habitat
Native to peninsular India and Sri Lanka, where it grows in slow-flowing streams and seasonal pools. Long ribbon-like leaves can grow up to 40 cm and trail in the current; tolerates a wide range of light and hardness.
