Habitat
Endemic to the southern half of Lake Tanganyika, found along rocky shorelines from Cape Chaitika and Mpulungu (Zambia) to Cameron Bay. The laterally compressed body and reinforced scales allow it to squeeze into narrow rock fissures while hunting shrimps and small fish.
